Frugal Way to Use Leftover Soap Slivers

I read about this great tip in “Your Living Well” newsletter from my realtor. You know those leftover soap slivers that just get wasted and tossed out. Here is a frugal tip to use every last bit of that soap.
Cut a slit in the side of a sponge and insert the sliver of soap. You can then continue to lather up by just wetting the sponge. The sponge also makes holding on to the soap easier for kids. I tried it out myself and had to share it. What do you think? Do you have a creative way to use leftover soap slivers?
